MANTRA

Mantra is one of the five pillars of the Catholic Divine Project.

What does mantra mean?

A mantra is a motivating chant. A mantra is usually any repeated word or phrase, but it can also refer more specifically to a word repeated in meditation. In civil and political world It is a statement or slogan repeated frequently , example: "one man, one vote", "next level" , "power to the people" . In spirituality and spiritism, It's usually a word or sound that is believed to have a special spiritual power.

A mantra is a sacred word, sound or phrase,( often in Sanskrit), recited within a wide variety of religious and spiritual traditions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Yoga, where enchantment and incantation replace mantra in their worship. The word mantra is derived from two Sanskrit roots; manas meaning ‘mind’ and tra meaning ‘tool’. As such, mantras are considered to be “tools of thought,” used as a means of harnessing and focusing the mind. (Sanskrit is an ancient Indo language). Hinduism, Buddhism and Yoga and other Antichrist religions use mantra as enchantment and incantation to increase their power of command against their unsuspecting victims.

In art and musical world a mantra can be understood as any sound, word or phrase that alters consciousness through meaning, tone, rhythm, or physical vibration. When chanted with devotion, certain utterances are thought to create powerful vibrations within the body and mind, enabling deep states of meditation.

Mantras are believed to have spiritual and psychological powers, each with its own particular intention and meaning behind it.

In the world of education or academics, Mantras can either be recited in repetitions or chanted with melody.

Repetition of a mantra can be used to evoke higher states of consciousness, to harness the power of intentions, to manifest positive affirmations and to enter deeper states of awareness.

Finally, A mantra can be sometimes repeated as an aid to meditation or prayer.

Other words for mantra are:

catchphrase, catchword, leitmotif, litany, motto, refrain, slogan, watchword, tagline.

In Catholic theology mantra is referred to as ejaculatory prayer or simply, ejaculation.

Specific word or phrase are chosen to emphasize your reasons for meditation, meditating with a word you like the sound of, or one that makes you happy, can also reinforce a sense of calm or joy. Some people choose mantras that double as affirmations, such as:

"With God all things are possible.”

“Every day is a new beginning.”

"I will not die but I will live to recount God's goodness."

Choosing affirming phrases also guides your awareness to your intentions. Meditation can feel frustrating when you don’t see results, but regularly repeating a mantra that reflects your vision for yourself can increase the likelihood of it becoming reality.

COME LORD JESUS

THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
